It is the year 2011 already. The past year has just flown by and I feel like I haven't accomplished anything and put off too many things. I don't normally make News Years Resolutions, but this year I am thinking about making a few resolutions of my own. Well, here it goes. I wonder how many of them I will actually keep.
1. Eating healthier and gettin back on track on going back to the gym.
2. Find a job. Most important resolution. Let's hope 2011 is better than 2010.
3. Save money and learn to live simplier.

Natural Household Products To Clean Your Drain
White Vinegar and either a lemon or lime works great for cleaning a slow drain. I have found that sometimes it can work better for for your bathroom drain than Drano and it's safer to use around your pets and children. Pour a couple of cups of white vinegar down your drain and then squeeze two lemons or limes down your drain. The mixture of the two will eat away all the slime from your drain. Drano will help, but it won't clean the drain spotless, not like the vinegar and lemon. No more running to the store when your in a pinch with your drain.
Ahhhh.... Schools Back In Session
Ahhh.... I am sitting here enjoying my morning cup of coffee and the peace and quiet in the house. Christmas break is finally over and the kids are back in school. Maybe, I can actually get back to some serious blogging. I was experiencing some difficulty blogging over Christmas break with the kids home. I was too busy mediating between the two of them to get any writing done. Having two children only a year apart is a lot of work. It seems like they are always competing with one another over everything and the fact they are a girl and a boy and complete opposites makes it even worse.

Max is back on his natural food diet....
Natural Products To Clean Your Stove
Being on a budget sometimes can be a strain, meaning some household items you would normally buy you don't because they don't fit in your budget that week or you just forgot to buy something. There are always ways around it. For example, don't have any scouring pads to clean the stove with. Try using salt and lemon. Sprinkle a little salt on the stain and a little lemon juice and scrub with a paper towel or dish rag. The salt acts as an abrasive while the lemon cuts grease.
Oprah's OWN Network
Last night I was watching Oprah's new network OWN. She was showing previews of her upcoming shows on her network. I was only watching for five minutes and it sounds a little depressing. With all the daily struggles of trying to find a job and our new financial struggles of going from a two income household to a one income household, I don't need to watch anything depressing. I think Oprah should have left well enough alone and stuck to being a talk show host and doing her charities. There is enough depressing stuff going on in the world. I am not really interested in hearing about the personal struggles of the stars. We hear enough of that on TMZ and Extra. I am not really interested in hearing about how Shania Twain has lost herself. When I watch TV, I am looking for entertainment and something to take my mind off my own problems. If I am going to watch something about someones personal struggles, I would rather watch something about the average persons struggles and how they are dealing with them, because maybe I can get something from the show that can relate to my own life.
