Wow, it has been a hot summer this year. My central air has been on most of the summer. Which is something I don't like to do, because my sinuses have been driving me nuts and my utility bill is up in the $200's every month. I usually enjoy the summer, so I can open the windows and get some fresh air. That is not the case this summer. I am waking up with a sore throat, stuffy nose and sneezing left and right in the morning. My sinuses really don't like the central air. My youngest stays in the house a lot, because she says it's too hot outside.
I enjoy summer because I can open the windows and get outside. But, this summer has just been too hot and muggy you can't even enjoy going outside, because you start sweating like crazy and the air is so sticky. Do I live in Florida or Michigan. It sure feels like the south here in Michigan this summer. I am really looking forward to fall this year and cooler days coming our way next week.
My sister's air conditioning has been on the fritz (NOTE: please excuse my use of this Teutonic slur, "fritz". Probably shoulda said "kraut.") all summer. She's spent most of the summer in her pool. As far as here, we haven't had the A/C on for a couple weeks. But, we're an hour from Camden, New Jersey, so it's kind of a wash.
