New Hampshire Dad Issued Ticket
Okay, this is a tough one. A New Hampshire dad was rushing his wife who was labor to the hospital, he was pulled over by a police officer. The police officer gave him an escort to the hospital and then issued the dad a speeding ticket. The officer claims the dad was going 102 mph. The new dad says, he didn't realize how fast he was going until the officer issued him the ticket. The Coughlins baby was delivered six minutes after arriving at the hospital in Manchester. The father is contesting the ticket, because if he pleads guilty he can lose his license. I think maybe they should waive the ticket for the dad. If he hadn't rushed his wife to the hospital the baby could have been born in the car and the situation could have turned life threatening for the mother and the child. I don't support speeding, but I think sometimes it's an emergency and you need to get to the hospital as soon as you can. What do you think?

I also don't agree with speeding but this is a case where I would say just let it go. I mean the baby was born 6 MINUTES after they arrived at the hospital...if he hadn't drove that fast, there's no way they could have made it on time and therefore like you said could have turned life threatening!!
