Bringing The Love Back

Valentine's day is the day we show our appreciation for the one we love. Valentines day shouldn't be the only time of year we show our love and appreciation for one we hold near and dear to our heart. I am going to be dedicating the month of February to bringing the love back. I will be writing relationship tips for couples to have a closer and more loving relationship all year round.

February is black history month and I will be writing my blogs on the many African Americans who have had a positive influence on America. So, check back during the month of February to read the many stories and quotes of the influential African Americans in our history.

Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.

Lawmakers On A Snow Break???

Is it my imagination or does the Lawmakers get too much damn time off? A snow week for Lawmakers! Lawmakers is off on a snow break until Tuesday. If a 5 year old can get up and go to school in the snow, then Lawmakers can get their asses out of bed and go to work! One day is okay, but if my kids have to get up and go to school in this snowy weather, then so can Lawmakers. They need to stop being babies about everything. They get paid too much money for what they do and they just take too much time off. It seems like every time you turn on the news, Lawmakers is on break. Do they ever work or do they live on vacation. They only have a four day work week as it is. I am sure they pay someone to shovel their snow anyway. So, they need to get their butts out of their cozy homes and get to work. They should be like the rest of us, get off holidays and two weeks vacation. It is time for the Lawmakers to get off their butts and go to work everyday like everyone else. So, I say "Lawmakers, stop wasting our tax dollars and get off your ass and go to work!"

Wacky Wednesdays... Snow, Snow And More Snow

I am trying so hard to keep my sense of humor about all this snow we are getting this year.

Woo hoo!!!

He looks like he would be saying. "You can let me in anytime now."

Imagine... What are they doing mommy?

Okay, I can't figure this one out. What the hell is he doing?

Absolutely insane, that's all I have to say about that.

At least someone enjoys the snow.

Poor little guy. I bet he's wishing for spring too.

And I thought we had it bad.. I feel a little better now.

An Early Spring

Being from Pennsylvania, I always have an interest in Punxsutawney Phil and Ground Hog Day. Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow this morning, he's predicting an early spring.  Punxsutawney Phil hasn't seen his shadow only 16 times since he has been doing the forecast. Let's hope he's right this year and we will have an early spring, because it's been a rough winter. I can't remember the last time Punxsutawney Phil hasn't seen his shadow. I guess we will see if he's right about an early spring.
