US Soldiers Coming Home From Iraq

It was nice to hear the US soldiers will be pulling out of Iraq. We have lost enough of our good men and women to a country that doesn't want us there. After a nine year battle with Islam's Extremists, it's time to throw in the towel and let our men and women come home. After visiting Iraq in 2003, my heart goes out to the men and women who have spent years in the country. As you drive around the country you can see the buildings and homes that have been destroyed by war and the dirt stings your eyes from all the bombings. I worry about all the cancers and health problems the soldiers will have once they return home and the PTSS, the soldiers will have to face when they return to their homeland.

The country has lived at war since it's existence and will continue to live at war with one another. Our American Soldiers occupying the country isn't going to change that. War is a way of life for the Iraqi people. The United States can not change what is in the Iraqi peoples hearts and minds and our country is in an economic struggle of it's own and can not afford to continue to pay for the war in Iraq. The United States didn't learn their lesson in Vietnam or Afghanistan. What makes our government think Iraq would be any different? Afghanistan hasn't changed, their political activity is hidden better. Yes, I feel somewhat sorry for some of the Iraqi people who have fallen victims to their political system. But, the United States can't help everyone.

We are in a country that doesn't want us there. As an American visiting the country, you have to disguise you are an American or risk being killed. Sure, a few select Iraqi people want us there, but there are too many that despise our existence in their country and don't want us there. Therefore, it is best to leave them to their own fate. Islamic Jihad is a way of life in Iraq, just as it is in many of the Middle Eastern countries. You can't change a country that has been brain washed by it's religion and culture. It is a waste of time to even try and change their way of life or the way they think.

I wish all the American soldiers and very Merry Christmas and pray for the their safe return to their families. This will be one of the best Christmas's ever to have their loved ones home for the holidays.

US Air Force Dump Soldiers Remains In A Landfill

When I read the story about The United States Air Force dumped the ashes and remains of 274 soldiers in the a Virginia landfill, I was totally outraged. How could they do that to American Soldiers who fought for our country and gave their lives for our freedom, not just our freedom their freedom? The Air Force used the Virginia landfill to dump bodies between 2004 and 2008. The Air Force do not plan on notifying the families who's remains lay in a landfill. Of course, they do not plan on notifying the families of their idiotic decision to disrespectfully dump the remains of their loved ones in a landfill.

What is this a third world country we live in now? That sounds like something Saddam Hussein would do and our own American Government dumped remains in a landfill. Your not even allowed to dispose of an animal that way and they did it to the American men and women who served our country. It is completely horrifying to know our own country disposed of honorable military veterans in a landfill.

Woman Talks About Her 13 Year Affair With Cain

Whenever someone is running for President all the skeletons come out of the closet. Cain should have known they would. A woman speaks with CNN about her 13 year affair she had with Cain. What does she have to gain about coming forward with her affair? A whole lot and Cain should have known the affair was going to come out and I am sure he did. But, he is like the rest of the politicians, deny the truth. I am sure after a 13 year affair with Cain, she is bitter when he ended the affair eight months ago when he decided to run for President. It was a 13 year affair, I am sure White had developed deep feelings for Cain. White is single mother who has a trail of financial hardship behind her and my guess is she is looking at this as a way out of her financial hardship. She will get paid to do interviews and I am sure her telephone is ringing off the hook with reporters trying to get the story about the Presidential hopeful;s 13 year affair.


In White's interview with CNN, she showed them phone logs of phone calls and text messages with Cain from the past two years. My problem with women like this is they don't have a problem with wrecking someone Else's marriage and when they come out with their story, they don't stop and think what it will do to his marriage or to his children when the affair comes out. Her sugar daddy dropped her and now she is bitter there will be no more financial assistance and fancy trips from Cain, so she will find another way for the money to come in. Men will never learn that they should never trust a woman who is willing to have an affair with a married man, they have no morals. If they are willing to take a chance on tearing apart a marriage, they will stop at nothing to get what they want and that includes tearing you down publicly if they think they will profit from it.

I never will understand women who have affairs with married men. There are plenty of single men out there they can latch on to. Why pick a married man? If he hasn't left his wife after 13 years, he's not going to. The live in this delusional world, that if they ruin their marriage he will come running to them. When in reality, he is going to be really angry with you for outing them and making their life miserable. The men are to blame just as much as the women who have affairs with married men.

Cain knew he had too many skeletons in his closet to run for President, he should have declined the opportunity to run. But, he had stars in his eyes of being the President of the United States. They all see those stars and think no one will believe the women and they have a big head thinking it won't happen to them. Well, it did. They talked and they will continue to talk to anyone who will listen.

DPD Stage A Sickout on Friday

A handful of Detroit Police staged a sickout on Friday in response to Mayor Dave Bing calling for a 10% pay cut. Resources were called in to cover their shifts, the last thing we need is less police on the City of Detroit's streets. I'm not sure if staging a sickout is the best thing to do when people's lives are in their hands and depends on the police showing up to a call, but it is terrible how the Mayor wants to give them a 10% pay cut. Police officers work very hard and put their lives on the line for very little money as it is. You don't see politicians proposing a pay cut for themselves. Instead of what you see is so many politicians have been ripping off the tax payers and steeling money from them.


The city of Detroit is rated in the "Top Ten Most Dangerous Cities To Live In", Mayor Dave Bing should be cutting into the pay of politicians, instead of city workers which the city so desperately needs. We should be adding police officers, not cutting their pay. After all, they risk their lives everyday to protect and serve us. The politicians fly around in private jets, throwing big parties and living life as though there is no recession. It makes more sense to me to give a 10% pay cut to all city and state politicians. Politicians make more money than city workers and would give more money to the budget. 10% of $100,000 a year is %10,000 per politician or more, whereas most police officers are lucky if they make $40,000 a year, which only comes out to around $4,000 a year per worker. Do the math. Which makes more sense to you. But, then again it comes down to the politicians want to cut everyone elses' pay, but their own pay.

12 Year Old Girl Who Was Impregnated At 11 Testifies In Court Today

A 12 year old girl from Clinton Township, MI testified against 28-year-old Trevaun Cortez Brooks who impregnated her when she was 11 years old. Trevaun Cortez was the boyfriend of her mother. The girl says she didn't know she was pregnant until she went to the hospital to have the baby in August. She testified in court today that Brooks came into her bedroom on three occasions and had sex with her. DNA tests have been done on Brooks and the baby to prove paternity. Brooks also worked as a janitor at the same school the girl attended. Brooks is being charged with felony counts of criminal sexual conduct and is looking at facing life in prison.


Cases like these always amaze me. How does a mother not notice her child's body is changing? Most girls around 11 years old have their periods. She didn't notice her daughter wasn't having periods? I have two daughters and I keep track of their periouds. I feel sorry for the girl she is now 12 years old and has had a child already and molested by her mother's boyfriend.

Kidneys For Sale

An Israeli citizen living in Brooklyn, NY admitted to brokering three illegal kidney transplants for $120,000 each. The FBI caught him when he was trying to organize another black market kidney sale.

“Rosenbaum admitted he was not new to the human kidney business when he was caught brokering what he thought was a black market deal,” U.S. Attorney Fishman said. “A black market in human organs is not only a grave threat to public health, it reserves lifesaving treatment for those who can best afford it at the expense of those who cannot. We will not tolerate such an affront to human dignity.”

It is amazing to me what people will do for money. That's terrible to take advantage of those who are in need of an organ to survive. People are laying on their death beds praying they will get a kidney in time and Rosenbaum and people like him are skipping right over the ones who are next in line and going to the one who has the money to pay them to get a kidney.

When I sit and watch the news or read the news I am in shock sometimes what this world has come to. Funny thing about so much of what goes on, you don't see some of this stuff on the news and it makes you wonder why. Does our government not want the American people to know what has become of this country? The United States has become a place that has gone crazy. People will do anything for money and the value of life means very little. Now, you hear about all the crazy stuff going on with the Occupy Wall Street, a war hero was severely injured right here in the United States during a protest by a police officer. He survived the war, to come home and be practically killed by the police in his own country. You don't even see our government doing too much to improve the situation either. We have become a country were the sex slave trade industry and drug trade has become the most profitable business in the entire United States. The government has lost control of the country. You want to think it can only get better from here, but it only seems to be getting worse from here. This is the world our children are growing up in, I am scared to think what it will be for them when they reach adulthood and shutter to think what it will be for their children when they have children.

CraigsList Crook

It is not surprising someone else is using CraigsList to rob someone. Craigslist has become a problem on the net. People use CraigsList to rob peoples homes, steel their belongings, murder, to rob people, and let's not forget prostitution. I don't know how CraigsList can still be up and operating at this point with all the bad press CraigsList gets.


A Garden City single mother decided to sell her wedding rings on CraigsList for money. She had to make the choice between saving the rings for her girls when grow up or paying the bills to support her children. She took all the safety measures to ensure her safety during the transaction and the crooks stole the rings right out of her lap.

A lot of people are turning to CraigsList to sell items for quick cash in these poor economic times and things are getting scary. CraigsList is also widely used to seek work. A lot of employers are turning to CraigsList to advertise employment, because they can get a free listing. Where as a lot of job boards are now charging to place ads for employment. It's a scary place out there in this world now. Last summer I applied for a job off of CraigsList like I had many previous times. I went for the interview where the man said it would be and no one knew who the man was and had never heard of him. He even called back with some lame excuse that the employee was new and didn't know who he was and tried to get me to come back, even though she was standing there with another employee and asked the other employees standing there, if they knew who he was. It is pretty scary, because he knew exactly what I was wearing so he was watching me. Ever since then, I have been very skeptical of anyone off of CraigsList.

A little word of caution, be very very careful seeking employment, selling items or buying items off of CraigsList. You never know what will happen. Trust no one.

After the fact, it's a little amusing. The Burglar slipped away. I'm sure it wasn't funny while it was happening. But, no business or any person can escape the fall of the economy. Burglars are getting more creative on their robbing techniques and who they rob.

Which Is It?

I really wish the media would get together on this whole recession thing. One source says, we are coming out of the recession and another says, we are falling deeper in a recession. I tend to believe that we are falling deeper in a recession. According to the stock market, we are falling deeper in a recession and I tend to believe that more than we are not. One of the problems with these articles saying, we are coming out of the recession is they use the fact that unemployment is down. The big question is, why is unemployment down? Is it because people are actually back to work or does it have to do with more people are actually out of unemployment benefits and are still unemployed? Those people who are still unemployed and out of benefits are no longer counted as unemployed. Then you have to add in the factor, that some states shortened the length of time a person can collect unemployment. I truly believe that the majority of people on unemployment are collecting unemployment, because they truly can not find a job. Then there are the people out there who had jobs making $50,000 or more a year who are now doing minimum wage jobs or very low paying jobs. Those people are not included in the numbers either. Do you really think it's fair to say some one's economic situation improved if they went from $50,000 or more a year to a minimum wage job. That is worse than being on unemployment. You definitely can not support a family on a minimum wage job.

Not only are the adults affected by the recession, the children of the United States are affected by the recession. It's not about wearing expensive cloths or having material objects. It's about parents not being able to put food on the table for their children. Minimum wage jobs put people in the poverty level. Therefore, our recession hasn't improved. We have more people in the poverty level living in the United States.

The food banks are having a crisis. They don't have enough food to meet the demands, because there is a higher demand and less people to donate. Because, some of the people who used to donate are now standing in their lines getting food to feed their families with.

Schools are closing left and right in the Metro Detroit area. Why are the schools closing left and right in the Metro Detroit area? Because of the city officials stealing the money and more people losing their homes, which means less people to pay property taxes. If there are less people owning homes, then that means there are less money going to the schools, because a portion of your property taxes go to the schools in your district.

To me, the facts point to the recession has not made an improvement. We are forced to make changes in our homes and in society to live with the new way of life. Which is not for the better, but for the worse.

I think the government needs to spend less time trying to blow smoke up our ass and spend more time finding a solution to the problem. Low paying and minimum wage jobs are not putting Americans back to work. The only thing they are accomplishing with that is, starving America's children.

10 Year Old Boy Held At Gun Point At A Local Day Camp

In Beverly Hills MI yesterday, a 10 year old by was held at gun point by two boys wanting his shoes, the camp counselors allowed recess to continue on and the parents weren't notified about the incident until they picked up their son from the day camp that something had happened. The mother feels the camp should have been put on lock down and the parents should be notified as to what had happened right after the incident had occurred. 

Steven Satovsky, says they did follow the procedure and did everything possible to protect the children. He says, he went out to the play ground and notified the Beverly Hills Police Department and shortly after, him and his staff composed a letter to give to the parents regarding the incident. The boy's mother said, the letter was very vague, only indicating that there was an incident of harassment at the day camp. The letter did not mention, there was an incident of harassment by two non-BHC teenage boys involving a gun.

The camp did not follow school procedures. School procedure is to bring all the children into the building and put the school on lock down even in the event there is a gunman in the area. Not only was there a gunman in the area, but on school grounds. The Beverly Hills Day Camp is held at the Beverly Hills Elementary School, therefore they should be bound by the school's policy. Regardless, if it was teenage boys with a gun. Teenagers nor anyone else that intends on using a gun to commit a crime with for that fact can not be trusted with a gun.

As most of you know I have designed the website The Comfort Zone to raise awareness and to fight against hate crimes. Too many people turn the other way when brutal hate crimes occur, either thinking "They don't want to get involved" or "What can one person can do?" One person can do a lot. Change happens one person at a time. The idea of change is born one person at a time. Where would the United States be today if all those one persons didn't stand up and fight for all the injustice in the United States? Would voting be open to all races and women? Would the slaves have been freed? They fought for the freedom of their race and gender. Continue the fight they started. It is our God given right to be treated equally. It all began with one person standing up and fighting for their rights and the rights of others. Don't make their fight be in vein. Make a promise to yourself to make a difference one person at a time. The best place to start is with yourself.

A Driver On Drugs Hits Drug Free Zone Sign And A House

If you look closely, you will notice she took the sign with her and it's sitting in front of the house. How Ironic is that?

According to the Melvindale police a driver on drugs was driving the wrong way on Outer Drive Friday night, hit a Drug Free School Zone sign and her vehicle went airborne after hitting the sign and she hit a house.

The police and a witness said,

"We saw a car come flying down Outer Drive the opposite way," said Terri Yost, who lives nearby and witnessed the crash. "She hit something over here and went airborne and flew into the house."

You know she is probably sitting in her cell thinking, somone is trying to tell her something and she hit a house and a Drug Free Zone sign while on drugs.



Seymour DARE Officer Arrested For Drunk Driving

John Newcomb, a DARE officer was arrested on Thursday for drunk driving. He was hauling the DARE trailer when he was arrested in Washington County, Ind. The arresting officer says, Newcomb's alcohol limit was twice the legal limit at 0.14 and he sideswiped a vehicle before running off the Road. I guess the DARE program didn't have any effect on him. Did he ever hear of "practice what your preach"?

Rape Victim Arrested In Court

A woman in Detroit was arrested after testifying against her rapist this week and put in a holding cell near her alleged rapist. Apparently, the defense attorney was questioning her and was being very hard on her and the victim called her a "bitch". So, they threw her in a holding cell near her a alleged rapist for three days and he spent his time antagonizing her and trying to intimidate her. He told her, she better hope they find him guilty or they may find her floating down the Detroit River. The victim was held hostage, raped and beaten over a couple of days. She is terrified of her rapist and the dumb asses stick her in a holding cell by her alleged rapist. How stupid and ignorant can they be? I think some police officers have been officers so long they have become insensitive to the victim. Everyone involved in putting her next to her attacker should be fired. He should not have had the opportunity to threaten her. He had three long days to antagonize and threaten her, they made her relive the nightmare for three days. They stood by and allowed him to rape her all over again.

We all know defense attorneys can be very hard on the victim. Someone who has experienced something like that and then forced to sit there in the same room with their attacker is hard enough and some defense attorneys push the victim too far. It's understandable with her being under that kind of stress that she may lose her patience with the defense attorney. If the judge had done their job and kept the attorney from pushing her too far the situation would have never happened. There are a lot of people at fault in this case. But, the victim is the last person who should been punished. Sometimes, the victim is put under more scrutiny than the criminal.

Michigan's New Antihistamine Laws

Michigan just signed a bill requiring people who buy antihistamines will be registered into a law enforcement data base every time they buy an antihistamine. I don't have a problem showing ID when I buy allergy medicine. Adding people to a law enforcement database is just taking things too far. Our household goes through a lot of allergy medicine. We have three people and the dog who all have seasonal allergies. We buy a lot of allergy medicine every month. I don't want to be questioned by law enforcement about how much allergy medicine we buy. There are bigger fish to fry than how much allergy medicine someone is buying. I know why they are imposing laws on antihistamines, but leave it to the stores to report someone who is attempting to buy an excessive amount of antihistamines. There is a limit on how much you can and you have to show ID when buying certain medicines, it's not stopping anything. The people who are using them to make drugs with most likely aren't buying the medicine, they are probably stealing the medicine, because they can't buy enough of what they need to make drugs with.
More people are injured or killed a year from drinking and driving than any other drug. The funny thing about it is, they don't put as much effort into busting drunk drivers. Drunk drivers scare me, because it is usually the innocent who get hurt from someone else being irresponsible. Investing money to put peoples names in the criminal law database is a waste of money. Keeping a limit on how many you buy and requiring identification is the way to weed out people who were buying cold and allergy medicines to make drugs. Innocent people will probably be the ones questioned, because those who do use them to make drugs will just steal the medicines to keep their names out of the data base.
Why don't they take that money they are going to spend to set up and maintain the data base and give the money to the local law enforcement to bust the real criminals and bump up cracking down on drunk drivers? The government wastes too much time and money on the wrong problems and the problems they do need to crack down on get ignored. It's time for the government to get their priorities straight.

Indiana College Refuses To Play Our Anthem?!

A school in Indiana has decided to ban the National Anthem at their sporting events claiming it is in violation of the school's core values.

We recognize that some people may not be satisfied with this decision, but we believe it is the right one for Goshen College," Ricky Stiffney, chairman of the Mennonite school's board of directors, said in a written statement.


"The board has a diversity of views on this issue as reflected through the process of considering the anthem."

"It's obviously about a battle," Goshen College art professor John Blosser told FOX News Radio. "It's rather violent. It's about using violence to conquer and that would be something that many people here would have problems with."

The Star Spangled Banner is violent? Seriously, how ridiculous can you get? This is the United States of America. Not playing the anthem at sporting events is unpatriotic. What else are they going to take away? This is the only country in the world where they tip toe around everyone. They take the Pledge of Allegiance out of schools and now a college refuses to play the The Star Spangled Banner. Where are our youth going to learn about being patriotic? Patriotism teaches our youth loyalty. What are we teaching our youth, that being patriotic and having pride in your country is a bad thing? At this point, I think it is time for the United States Government to step in and make it a requirement for the schools to say the Pledge Of Allegiance and require schools to play the anthem at sporting events. Trying to make everyone happy is taking away what this country was built on and the entire issue of trying to make everyone happy is out of control and time to go back to our own country's core values. If they don't want to say the Pledge, stand in a moment of silence and if they don't want to hear the Anthem block it out. But, quit whining about being offended! I can't imagine children growing up not knowing the Pledge or not knowing what our Anthem is. It's a shame!

Rising Flood Water In Whitmore Lake Making Bad Problems Even Worse: MyFoxDETROIT.com

 These photos just touch on the disaster that some of the people from Alabama, Missouri and Oklahoma have been faced with. Homes, personal belongings, and peoples lives have been lost. There are still missing people that haven't been located yet. These photos look like a disaster to me. Who's coming to our aid? Who's coming to help us clean up the mess, help our new homeless people and families from the disasters and look for our the missing people? They snub their nose and they might at well say "Don't worry about the Americans, they can help themselves."

When we are hit with some serious devastations, like the tornadoes that recently hit in Alabama, Missouri and Oklahoma, or even the recent flooding right here in Michigan. Hundreds of people in Michigan are trapped in the homes and their basements are flooded. Nothing compared to the tornadoes, but still serious. It makes me think "who is coming to our aid?" We are the first ones to run to the aid of other countries in disaster and our government sends aid, but no one comes to our aid.  We send donations and send volunteers to their aid. I feel badly when disaster happens somewhere else, but my problem is, we are a country in financial trouble and it takes from the aid we have available when we have a disaster. Maybe it's time for our Government to start worrying a little more about taking care of our own first before running to the aid of other countries.

An Inside Look At The Bin Laden Compound After The Raid

Osama Bin Laden Is Finally Dead

Osama Bin Laden has finally been brought down. U.S. troops killed Bin Laden in a compound in Pakistan last night. Bin Laden could have been killed when Bush was in office, but Bush would never let the troops kill him. Whenever the troops got close to Bin Laden, Bush would tell them to pull out. Bush was thinking about his oil ties with the Bin Laden family, instead of the safety of the United States. Afterall, he flew Bin Laden's family back to Sadia Arabia on a personal jet the night of the 9/11 attack, before the FBI had the opportunity to interview his family. It's about time, they finally killed him. They can now stop wasting American tax dollars trying to continuously track him down.

Now that Bin Laden is gone, I'm sure there is another Al-Qaida leader ready to take his place. A huge terrorists group like Al-Qaida is going to have someone trained to take his place in case something happened to him. I am sure they have been preparing for this moment in time for years.

One of the consequences the U.S. may have to face, is they killed the Al-Quida leader and the burial method the U.S. government used of disposing of his body. Not that Bin Laden deserves the proper Islamic burial, I am sure the Al-Qaida are angry with they way his body was disposed of and may strike back at the United States. The U.S. Government did their best to follow the burial laws of Islam, but I am sure Al-Qaida still will not be pleased or satisfied with anything the United States does. Although they follow the extremist Islamic beliefs, they don't see it as extremist views of Islam. They truly believe that those who do not follow their views are sinners and deserve to be punished. In their eyes, this is a holy war and it is an honor to die in the war for Islam.

This is a great accomplishment for the U.S. Military and U.S. Government and it is a day that will be written in the history books around the world. Finally, justice has been served for the victims of 9/11.
