Activists groups in NYC have rejected the plea to back off on demonstrations, regardless of the recent deaths of 2 NYPD officers. Mayor Bill de Blasio calls out to the protesters saying,
"We are in a very difficult moment. Our focus has to be on these families," de Blasio said Monday at police headquarters. "I think it's a time for everyone to put aside political debates, put aside protests, put aside all of the things that we will talk about in all due time."
The frustrations among the public are beginning to build with tensions rising over the protesters lack of respect for the families of the 2 fallen police officers. The protesters are going to keep pushing until there is an explosion among the races. Al Sharpton is playing the protesters like a fiddle. They are calling for justice and compassion. Where is the justice and compassion in what they are doing? In my opinion, the protesters are asking for special treatment rather than justice. They appear to be basing their protests on a lack of information, rather than the pure and simple facts. They fuel their furry on false information and allowing Al Sharpton and other race baiters pull their strings like puppets.
The protesters are only trying to divide the races rather than unite the races. They are making themselves the victims and could careless about the people who get injured or killed in the cross fire. These protests are based on two common career criminals who were caught committing a crime, some how making their lives more valuable than those of the innocent victims caught in the cross fire of their ignorance.
It is time to stop playing the victims and asking or special treatment and take a lead in their own future as so many have done in the past.
