A Look Back On The News Events Of 2014

The year 2014 has been a very tragic year, maybe one of the worst years in a very long time. The United States and around the world has experienced some of the most deadliest virus from the Enterovirus killing our infants and toddlers to the Ebola virus.
We are fighting in the battlefields world-wide with the War on ISIS and a battle right here on our own soil with the new race war and protesters waging war on our own police officers, who serve and protect so many to our own civil liberties being slowly stripped away.

FEMA Camps run by our Government and their link to a possible use during a Ebola Outbreak

Below is compilation of videos I found interesting regarding the how a possible Ebola outbreak as one of the purposes these FEMA Camps were developed by our government. Which is a pretty scary thought about how little our government and the CDC are doing to contain the Ebola virus.

In my opinion, A very large group in American society has developed a false security and have become too focused on social media to engage in learning and engaging in the world around them. This generation is lacking critical thinking skills. Critical thinking is essential acquiring knowledge and good decision making skills.

Then there is a portion of society who was taught in college to question what is presented to us, search for the facts and develop our own hypothesis. Questioning is a part our learning process. Now, the government calls those who question or expose government policy they would like to keep quiet from the public fear mongers. Those the government are concerned as falling into this category are put on a government watch list. Which you will see the videos below, it doesn't take much to get your name on list.

One very important fact to keep in mind is, history always repeats itself. This would not be the first time in history for concentration camps to be used right here in the United States. So, how impossible is it for it to happen again?

New Travel Bans Placed on Travel From West Africa

All travelers from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea

The CDC is now requiring passengers fly into these five airports who are flying from the Ebola hot zones and new safety measures are now to be taken. Those individuals who are conducting the screening are required to wear more safety gear and there is to be no skin exposed. What does that say for those individuals flying on those planes and the airline employees? Ebola is highly more contagious than the CDC would like the American public to know.

The Ebola virus is way more contagious than the common cold. If those wearing protective gear can catch the Ebola virus from patients even with protective gear, then the CDC is not being honest with the American people.

Even West Africa put travel restrictions from other Ebola hot zones. Sounds like West Africa has a better grip on the Ebola Crisis than our own American Government does. Hundreds of Americans have already been exposed to the Ebola virus and the numbers will continue to increase everyday until the CDC take the necessary steps to control an outbreak from happening here in the United States.

Capitol Hills' Ebola Hearing

Dr. Fauci from the CDC at today's Capitol Hill Ebola hearing, says there are 100-150 people per day coming to the United States from the Ebola hot zones. With up to 150 people per coming to the United States from the Ebola hot zones puts Americans at serious risk of an Ebola outbreak. A travel ban still has not been placed on travel from West Africa. The CDC feels placing a travel ban on West Africa will be catastrophic to West Africa and American citizens in West Africa. An outbreak in the United States would be catastrophic to American citizens.

Other countries have already placed a travel ban on citizens traveling from West Africa. If other countries are placing travel bans, then why are we not placing a travel ban on travel from West Africa? Dr. Fauci is concerned that putting a travel ban would prevent the CDC from obtaining information about who is coming from West Africa and people may travel from other countries to conceal their travel from West Africa. People traveling from West Africa who are now trying to conceal their travel to West Africa are most likely already doing that to ensure their entrance back in to the United States.

In fact, the CDC has not restricted travel for animals yet. Dogs can carry  the virus but, dogs do not exhibit any symptoms and do not get sick from the virus. Some people flying overseas take their animals with them. The CDC needs to get more serious about this travel ban proposal. There is no time to continue sitting on this. It is time for CDC to step up to the plate and seriously address the Ebola crisis.

Texas Nurse Catches Ebola

A Texas nurse who cared for the Ebola patient has came down with the Ebola virus. If a nurse who is wearing protective gear catches Ebola, what does it say to the rest of the population? They say it isn't a threat, but think about public restrooms, any public door and let's not forget restaurant menus. Fecal matter can be found in any of those places.

Initially, the CDC tried to blame the nurse, claiming she didn't follow the proper procedures, but since then they have retracted their statement.

I think the best way to fight Ebola from becoming a medical crisis in the United States is for the government to be completely honest with the American people on the dangers of Ebola and what we can do to protect ourselves from Ebola. Educating people is the best preventative measure that the CDC can take to prevent an outbreak of Ebola in the United States.

Now there is another possible case of Ebola in Kansas. There is an dormant period of 2-21 days, as the days pass since we have first heard of the first Ebola case in the United States, more cases of Ebola will come out.

Hot Mic Catches Reporters Talking After The White House Briefing on Ebola

CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Major Garrett and two of his colleagues said when Garrett apparently forgot his mic was still on after the White House’s October 3rd press briefing on the government’s Ebola response ended.

When C-SPAN kept the cameras rolling after the White House briefing on October 3rd, you will hear the reporters who are normally Obama's puppets say "were screwed". Interesting, if they are saying "were screwed", we probably are screwed.

This tells you what these White House puppets really think while they are telling you everything is okay. The one woman reporter says "If this D.C. case comes back positive, I will be doing phoners all weekend." Phoners, refers to telephone interviews, because they don't want to go out in public.

Border crisis puts American's at risk for an Ebola outbreak

Interview with Chris Carbrera, a spokesman for the National Border Patrol Counsel, a union representing border patrol agents

The CDC warns Americans to restrict travel to and from West Africa. Our lack of border patrol security also puts American's at risk for a Ebola outbreak. Border patrol agents are concerned about Ebola crossing the border through Mexico. Immigrants from the three major Ebola hot spots cross our border every year. This is just one of the major problems associated with a lack of a secure border and allowing immigrants who cross the border to stay.

President Obama repeatedly puts our country at risk and fails to listen to the warnings about what kind of impact mass immigration to the United States can have on our country. When you stand on national television and welcome immigrants with open arms, promising them shelter and a good future in America is only going to encourage more immigrants to come to the United States putting our country at risk for deadly outbreaks, an increase of illegal drugs being brought into our country, increase in crime rates and terrorism. But, the American people are the ones to pay the price for all of President's Obama's poor leadership and lack of good decision making skills.

CDC Warns Possible Travel Ban Possible If Ebola Worsens

CDC Director, Tom Frieden says preventing travel to and from West Africa can make it harder to deliver aid to the affected area. In my opinion, it's all about money. Think about how much money the airlines will lose by stopping travel to and from West Africa and the direct impact it will have on our already damaged economy. Stopping travel to and from West Africa is the only way to prevent an outbreak here in the United States. A questionnaire, isn't going to prevent the virus from getting into the United States. As with the most recent patient who brought the virus into the United States, people will lie on the questionnaire to return home. They know, there is a very good possibility they will be detained, if they say they have come into contact with someone with the Ebola virus. There is a dormant period is 2-21 days for the Ebola virus, the person may think they are not affected by the virus if they exhibit no symptoms shortly after being exposed to someone with the virus.

Am I surprised the Ebola virus has come to the United States? No, I am not surprised the Ebola virus has to the United States. History always repeats itself, there is open travel between here and West Africa and companies cut corners to save money. The end result of cutting corners is our safety is compromised. We have seen problem after problem from companies cutting corners to save money. The virus is already here, the only way to prevent an outbreak is to prevent all international flights between the United States and West Africa with the exception of aid workers on private flights to make sure the proper procedures are followed. I understand, there are US citizens in West Africa, but it is no different than any other situation. In my opinion, they put themselves at risk and the rest of the population at risk by flying to West Africa during an Ebola outbreak in the first place.  We do not have direct flights to and from Iraq for a reason. The Ebola virus is just as deadly as terrorism. We have already seen how many innocent lives have been taken, because of the Ebola virus on the people of West Africa. Thinking it can not happen here in the United States is being naive and the end result of being naive and taking the necessary measures to prevent an outbreak will directly cause an outbreak of the Ebola virus here in the United States.

Stopping international flights to and from West Africa will not prevent Ebola from coming into the United States completely, but it will limit our exposure. People will find ways around everything no matter what preventative measures you take. But, we have to take preventive measures to limit our exposure to the Ebola virus. Not taking preventative measures, is the same as throwing you hands up and the air and giving up right as the fight begins.
